Backdated post again..in my previous post, I did mentioned that Ryan won "happy holiday with Fiffy" contest under Parenthood Magazine Oct'09 edition.Therefore, in our KL trip in last Dec'09, I went down to Parenthood office personally to collect the prize.
At the sametime, I got to know that my tips "from mothers to mothers" sponsored by Woodwards was selected as one of the best letter for Dec 2009 and Jan 2010 edition.
It meant I will be getting 3 prizes at one go.....Feel so happy :)

Dec'09 Holiday Trip to Medan

Yes...another backdated post,it has been dragged for a month & only now I have time to post them out at my blog.
All are about my holiday trip back to my hometown (Medan,Indonesia)last Dec'09.
We was in Medan for about 3 weeks and we really spent our best time there with my family members & relatives & friends.
Unfortunately, me ,hubby & Ryan was sick during our 3 weeks stay in Medan. Hubby was down with diarrhea,while both me & Ryan was down with flu. I guess the weather in Medan is not clean enough,probably not suit 3 of us ....:(

Actually we did attended 2 wedding dinners in our 3 weeks stay in Medan,unfortunately, I forget to bring my camera along on the 1st wedding dinner @Selecta Restaurant.

Having lunch with my sister's family @Jade Restaurant,JW Marriot Medan...super yummy dimsum buffet...we was there for more than 2 hours enjoying our dimsum meal.

Ryan was having fun rides at Amazon & Timezone,Sun Plaza, Medan.

We went to Hillpark with my brother's family..it was about 1 hour drive from Medan City.Hillpark is quite a new theme park for adults & kids to have fun.They have a nice weather there...cool & refereshing air.

Ryan falls sick again...

In less than a week, my poor Ryan falls sick again, having fever and throat infection.
Ryan just been to school on last Monday...everythig went smoothly,no crying for the past 3 days,till yesterday morning he cried when I dropped him off to school.
After his teacher persuaded,he was fine. Around 10am, I received a call from his teacher that Ryan was having a fever,I faster drove to school & fetched him back home.
Since my fridge still have PCM,let him take the medicine & rest.Till dinner time,his fever still there,I was bit worried & decided to bring him to Dr.Law again.
Spent RM39 for 3 medicine + consultation fee.

During midnight, fever was not subsided yet,but Ryan still can sleep.I pasted "bye bye fever" on his forehead the whole night,it helped to bring down his body temperature.
This morning, I measured his temp..bit high 37.8', So gave him fever medicine again & "bye bye fever". Till now,his body temp has back to normal.

As for the school, I have phoned the principal to inform him about the discountinuing of class for this coming 2 weeks. I will send Ryan back to school in Feb 2010.

Hope Ryan will recover soon !!

** Little updates.....on me & Ryan **

Both me and Ryan falls sick at the same time.Ryan started to get cough & runny nose last Sunday while I 'm getting the cough bug last Wed. So now only daddy that stay healthy in between 3 of us.
I guess both me and Ryan got tired from our KL trip.As for me, I knew my immune system is getting weaker as my age is catching up.(need more Vitamin)...
As of today,both me and Ryan feel better.
Daddy has been spending almost RM200 on Ryan's medication,whilst for me, I just get Obat Batuk from Pharmacy,hope it works for me (or else daddy's wallet will be in a Big Hole***).
If everything is fine, Ryan will start his nursery class next Monday(11 Jan 2010).

Adding to my post, 3 more weeks later exactly on 1 Feb'2010 Ryan will be 3 Years Old.
Still no plan yet for Ryan b'day celebration,probably just simple dinner with cake cutting.
This is also the 1st time Ryan celebrating his b'day @ Sibu,all the while he celebrated his b'day in Medan(my hometown)

Ryan is Sick...again.

Ryan started to have cough two days ago,not frequent cough,but I noticed there is phelgm in his throat. Probably it due to his flu while we were in Medan.
Yesterday morning, me n hubby brought Ryan to Dr.Law,I am so proud of Ryan that he did not cry at all when we entered the clinic.(which he used to cry before we entered the clinic last time). When doct checked his throat, he sat quietly on my lap. According to doct, nothing serious. Pescribed him medicine to clear his phlegm.
This morning, Ryan supposed to attend his 1st day class,but I decided to let him rest well at home as he developed runny nose too.Taking goodcare of his health is much more important than allowing him to attend half day class(at taska).

Hope Ryan will gets well soon !!!

We 're Back

Yes ... we have come back to Sibu last wed (30 Dec'09),it also meant that our holiday is over.
We have a great time with my families for our 3 weeks holiday in Medan,met up with my ex-classmates,have nice food there and shop nice stuffs for Ryan too.
We stopped by KL for 3 nights and have gathering with MP friends and blogger friends.Really appreciated my dear friends for the gathering arrangements, we really have a great time during the gathering.
I will post more on my holiday trip (with pictures) in the next post..Stay tuned !!!

Enfa Enfa .... in Action

Yesterday, we went to nearby supermarket Farley and just nice there is a promotion for Enfagrow & Enfakid product,free container for every RM88 purchase.
Ryan received free hat,balloon,owl mask & paper ruler from Enfa promoter.
After reached home, I realized why don't I buy few packs to keep stock since there is a free gift,thought of going to buy at night after dinner.Unfortunately, it was heavy rain outside.
Today I went there and no more promotion is going on...miss out good opportunity!!

One more Week To Go

Yeah .... one more week to go, at last I can go back my kampung again after been waiting for about 10 months. Three of us (me,hubby & Ryan) will be going back to Medan for about 3 weeks (2-27dec). Our flight from Sibu-KL supposed to be afternoon,but there is a change in the time and it makes us almost not able to catch up our connecting flight KL-Medan.
So, I called up Airasia call centre and request for change,I am glad that I can change my Sibu-KL to morning flight on 2 dec'09,it means we will reach KL around 11++am.We have to wait at LCCT for about 5 hours as our next flight from KL-Medan is 5.40pm.
Never mind, we can take our sweet time at LCCT,having our lunch and shop for some chocolates.
Coincidentally, my sister will be in the same flight with us too.She is with my BIL and her youngest dotter. So happy when I got her SMS that day telling me that she will be back to Medan on 2 dec'09 @5.40pm Airasia flight.It is our second time taking same flight back to Medan(last year Dec we also took same flight Valueair from S'pore-Medan).

On 27Dec'09, we will be going to Kuala Lumpur for 3 nights stay,have booked Tune Hotels,our first time staying at Tune Hotels.From the website,it looks not bad.I really hope the bedroom and the environment is comfortable like what is described at their website.
Have arranged for a gathering with my Mamypoko's buddies @ Mid Valley on 27dec'09 for dinner. That will be the first gathering with them(Nic,Ling,Violet,LT,Funn,Queenie) except Wanchin(have met her last year Dec,went to Singapore together).Really hope can meet all of them on that night.

We will be back to Sibu on 30dec'09 taking night flight.Hope I will have a chance to meet some of my bloggers' friends too.

Very excited now ......!

Singapore Mee Siam

Hubby was telling me that he was craving for Mee Siam the other day,so last weekend when I was out for grocery shopping, my eyes caught this Woh Hup Instant Mee Siam paste on the rack, faster grab a bottle and start to buy the ingredients needed.
I cooked the whole bottle of the mee siam paste for both of us,still have a little bit of leftover soup which I ate with Maggi mee the next day.

As for the ingredients of MeeSiam,I just make it simple : prawns & taupok & vermicelli.
Don't forget to add some lime juice into the soup before serving.
Both me and hubby really enjoyed our Mee Siam meal last weekend,of course, Ryan is having his home-cooked kampua Mee while his daddy and mummy were struggling with their spicy mee siam soup.Yummmy !!!

It is a backdated post again,I almost forget to post it at my blog till tonight I was flipping through Parenthood Magazine Oct'09 edition and I saw Ryan's pic in there.
Yeah...Ryan win the 'happy holidays with Fiffy' picture contest.
Have received an email from Parenthood and will collect the gift in my Dec trip to KL.
So happy ... it is the second time Ryan pic was posted in Parenthood Magazine.

In addition, I also received an email from MUMCENTRE that Ryan won the PhotoBlog contest for the month of October.Not sure what is the prize for this time, will post it out once I have received the gift.

I received three stars letter from the latest Drypers Parent Circle,so happy...can save $$ again,no need to buy diapers for Ryan.
This morning,courier service delivered a big parcel from SCA for me.
