My Worried Day

21 May 08 - Ryan woke up at 9am.He was having slight fever.As usual after breakfast, I will bath him and then we will be playing together. Before having his lunch, I feed him PCM for fever n subsequently his temp is getting down. After lunch, he headed for his afternoon nap. He woke up around 4pm and his fever is back again.I started to worry and again I feed him PCM around 5pm. I am having a hard time to feed him medicine coz he refused to open up his mouth n keep crying when he saw me take medicine. However, he still can play as per normal. After taking his dinner, he played with his daddy and around 10.30pm, he slept.

22 May 08 - Ryan woke up at 1am in the morning ...cried for his milk n my hubby noticed that his forehead is hot and his temp has up to 38.2'c. He finished up all his milk, but he could not get back to sleep.Kept rolling here n there. So we decided to bring him to 24 hrs emergency @SSMC. Doct inserted Voren to his buttock and of course, he cried very loud at the clinic.After reach home, his fever was down abit n he managed to continue his sleep till the next morning.
As usual, Ryan woke up around 9am and when i touched his forehead, the fever was back again. At last, I have no choice but to insert another Voren to his buttock during lunch time and he took his nap soundly after that. But once he woke up around 5pm, the fever came back again. I was so worried and told my hubby to bring to Dr.Law for check-up. According to Dr.Law, Ryan 's throat was swollen and it leads to his fever.Dr.Law suggested to inject an antibiotik for the throat infection. Of course, Ryan will cry n cry when he saw the doct.Dr.Law also gave few tablets of Voren and Paracetamol and antibiotik syrup for Ryan.

23 May 08 - Ryan 's fever still the same....the medicine can only be effective for 5-6 hrs and then his fever will come back again. So I inserted Paracetamol to his buttock to relieve his fever and he took his nap for 2 hours. He woke up at 4pm and he felt so weak..he just want to lie on the bed. I quickly called his daddy back home and we brought Ryan to Dr.Law. When we reached his clinic, Ryan fever was about 39'c and Dr.Law suggested to admit Ryan to hospital for further investigation.My heart was pain n my tears was dropping.

Ryan was brought to operation room to do a lining at his leg,tats was for a drip and easier for inserting medicine coz Ryan refused to take oral medicine.He was crying n crying...whenever he saw someone open to room door, he would cry. He did not even want to lie on the bed. So I have to hug him for whole night.I was so worried and dunno what to do....Ryan has to suffer so much,my poor boy.His body temp was kept monitoring and he was kept inserted Voren and paracetamol to bring down his fever.Blood and urine test were conducted and all showed (-) result.

24 May 08 - Ryan condition still the same. Fever still 'on' n 'off' from time to time.

25 May 08 - Today, Ryan looks better and no more fever for the past 12 hours,without any medication at all. Doct said that if by 24 hrs, Ryan did not have a fever, then he can discharge the next day. I can see any improvement on Ryan. He can play around and become active back again,but his body developed red spots and according to doct, tat was measles.For conclusion, Ryan 's fever was caused by throat infection and measles. At last, I do feel better and have an appetite to eat too.

26 May 08 - Doct visited Ryan around 10am and Ryan can discharge already. This time, he seem don't really scare at doct and he even hold doct's hand and walked out to the room door. Both Ryan n I feel happy..we can back to our sweet home after being at hospital for 3 days.

27 May 08 till now - Ryan is back to his active world and the red spots was gone totally on 29 May 08. He also started to eat his porridge. Pity him...a lot of foods he can't consume due to measles.According to old folks, need to wait till 1 month, then he can consume bread,pork,fish,etc. Ryan feels suffer coz a lot of foods he can't eat and he has to be at home all the time.At last, I feel relieve and can sleep well too *-*

Lucky my hubby bought an insurance for Ryan, hospital bills was paid by insurance and all the clinics bills also claimed from insurance co.

I will be away from updating my blog due to Ryan was hospitalized for past few days(coz of high fever). He was discharged from hospital yesterday afternoon....Will update my blog once Ryan is fully recover.

This is part of my HelloKitty Collection from McDonald ...... I have been collecting soft toys (from McD n KFC )for the a few yrs since I was in Spore. Apart from soft toys, I do collect phncard,angpao packet,stamp.......n watever is cute n nice n worthy to collect.

My 15 months old

Time flies and Ryan has grown up to be a toddler......He is 15 1/5 months old now.I am having a hard time to snap his pics nowadays.Whenever I took out a camera, he will rush to me and want to grab the camera. Then he will make a lot of noises if I refused to let him touch the camera. Most of the pics are blur blur as he keeps moving n moving while I am taking his pics. This is 1 of the pic that looks better .... it was taken when Ryan is 15 months old. Does my face looks sleepy...????

Drypers Milestone Program

Finally I received the Drypers Milestone Folder after waiting for almost 3 months..I have been calling them a few times to check on the status and I was told to wait n wait ... still under processing. My hubby helped me collected the folder on last Monday from post office.
The folder is nice and colourful and the inserts are very useful too.

After pregnant for 9 months...at last my boy(Ryan Wong) was born thru C-section. He was born on 1st Feb 07@Sibu Specialist Medical Centre @12.10pm.His weight is 3.25kgs and height is 52cm.

I still remembered well that my confinement period is during the CNY time ...how suffered I am, have to be in the bedroom during CNY. With Ryan at my side, I feel happy and my hubby also accompany me all the time(after he off from work).

Month 1: brought Ryan to Dr.Law's clinic for immunization (hepB-2nd dose). His weight has increased to 4.48kgs.

Month 2 : brought Ryan to Dr.Law's clinic for immunization (dtp/hib/polio-1st dose).His weight was 5.88kgs and height was 60cm. Ryan has responded to smile and enjoyed my time playing with him. He started to lift himself into push-up position and then start to rock back and forth or kick her feet.

Month 3: brought Ryan for 3rd immunization (dtp/hib/polio-2nd dose).His weight has increased to 6.96kgs and height was 63cm. Ryan tried to grab things around him and can smile to people that he is familiar with.

Month 4 : Ryan has responded to sound surrounding him. He will turn his head while you move an object with sound. He can make the rattle produce a sound, for instance, which teaches him cause and effect. Being able to grab things means he can engage more in play -- whether by himself or with you. Also like to put things into his mouth. Has started to eat puree.

Month 5 : brought Ryan to Dr.Law's clinic for immunization (dtp/hib/polio-3rd dose)and (hep B-3rd dose).His weight was 8.15kgs and height was 67cm.Ryan has learnt to hug Mom, Dad, and other people she's comfortable around by watching others hug and getting hugged herself. Can sit with support and teeth are coming out soon.

Month 6 : At last, Ryan can sit without any support.Can recognize his toys and love to roll his body left and right. Ryan like to sit at baby walker round and round in the house. Start to eat solid food (ie.porridge) for lunch and dinner. I always refer to http://wholesomebabyfood.com.

Month 7 : Ryan can sit on his own. Able to use both hands to grape an object.Like to play with his fingers and toys. Also can recognize his own name.More teeths are coming out...

Month 8 : Ryan is showing me he can distinguish between different emotional states; he's aware that the happy feeling he gets when he sees you isn't the same as the sad feeling he has when you're not around. He is able to sit up and take in a whole new world.

Month 9 : brought Ryan for JE-1st dose immunization. His weight was 9.80kgs. Ryan is able to crawl on the floor. Like to explore things surrounding him.

Month 10 : Ryan supposed to go for JE-2nd dose immunization. Due to ur holiday trip to Spore and back to Medan, so has to delayed till Feb'08 for this immunization. Ryan's leg muscles is getting stronger. He can crawl very fast and try to stand up by his own,of course, he will fall down to the floor again. Can wave hand"bye bye" and nod his head when he doesn't want to.

Month 11 : Ryan can stand up by holding on the things beside him and able to walk few steps. Still very unstable and he is trying his best. At this stage, Ryan has about 1oteeths.

Month 12 : Ryan can walk more steps now....still need a support and very active baby. Started to eat different type of foods at this stage. Love to eat fruit esp apple,papaya. But he seem doesn't like banana.

Month 13 : Ryan can walk without any support, but sometimes he will fall down if walk too fast. He also started love to eat banana. I have started to feed Ryan porridge for breakfast,lunch and dinner.

Month 14 : Ryan started to call 'papa'....only sometimes will call 'mama'. He loves to muttered alot of words(its baby talks)and I have tried my best to reply him as well. He like to mess out things from the cabinet and also try learn to understand what mommy and daddy told him.

Month 15 : Ryan learn how to kick a ball,throw a ball, put blocks/toys back into a box.Able to follow your gesture and has tried to take off his own shirt.Recently, Ryan has tried to climb up stairs by his own (with mommy and daddy at his side).At this stage, Ryan has about 15-16teeths.

Time flies...now Ryan has grown up to be a toddler.

Free Diaper from Huggies

This morning, I received 2 big envelopes from Mr.Postman. When I opened it up, I saw 1 pack of Huggies Pull Up pant and 1 pack of Huggies Ultra at each envelope. I just wondering why they send me this free diaper again. This is the 2nd time Huggies sent me the free diapers. I received my sample request last month April'08. Thanks lot to Huggies for the good service.

Ribena Collection

I guess everybody love to drink Ribena. Both my hubby and I like to drink Ribena. We have collected some Ribena Soft Toys and a small clock. If not mistaken, the clock has 3 different designs, but the design is not nice, so I only collected 1 type. For the soft toys, they look nice and managed to collect 4 different types. Hope Ribena will have a new free gift promotion SOON.

Last Friday, hubby n I decided to open up a saving a/c for Ryan which was delayed since last yr.
