At last the Day comes....to us

After been waiting and waiting,at last we are now on holiday mood. We do not travel to any part of the town,just have a good rest at home.

For me, I have some test papers(monthly test)to be marked and prepared the report card to be pass to my students the week after the Gawai Holiday.
I am pleased that my tuition class is off for a week too,so I can spend more time with Ryan and my hubby at home.
Of course, I did some spring cleaning for my house especially the window and door and some spider webs start to hanging on the ceiling , they need to be clear too. Not to forget, I also get myself busy in the kitchen....doing some baking and cooking.

 Before the school holiday, our school celebrated Teacher's Day on 23 May'13, it was mt first time celebrating Teacher's Day with all students.Parents brought lot of food to share among the kids and teachers. Some parents even gave a gift to teachers. And this is what I received .....

For Ryan, this school holiday is really a relaxing day. Basically he just spend time on playing games, watching TV, doing some homeworks (given by mummy), napping, playing with toys and doing some colouring.
Sometimes I will brought him for a walk...we did window and grocery shopping together, we enjoyed it so much.

On top of that, I also received a few prizes from contest that I won.

Colouring Contest ( for 1Malaysia )

Last Tuesday, Ryan's teacher informed me that there will be a colouring contest on last Saturday (20/3/2013),the location is near my house(one of the shopping mall in our town). The main problem was both me and my hubby were at work. so I tried to contact my mother-in-law whether can help me to bring Ryan for this contest .
Yes...a positive answer from MIL.....enrolled Ryan for this contest and got ready all the things that he needed.

On that night,after work. my hubby went to meet up with Ryan & MIL while I was teaching at tuition school. By that time hubby reached there, Ryan was colouring half-way. He sat in the middle,so bit far to see how is his colouring's result.  Too bad they did not manage to catch a picture of what was he coloured that night.
It started from 5pm - 7pm, after that they went for dinner at Marrybrown while waiting for the result.

Around 8.30pm, the result was out from the oven......I believed every parents were getting excited with the result.
It started from Kindergarten level  with 10 consolation prizes........and Ryan was lucky enough to be picked as the 10th winner for consolation prize. Not a big prize , he just got a bag with some titbits.

I definitely love JULIE'S

I joined Julie's Chinese New Year contest for fun and never think of winning a prize before there are lot of entries which look very creative and nice.
As usual, I am using my husband's name to join this contest as it needed a Malaysian IC to enter a contest. Somewhere mid of March, I received a phone call from a lady calling from Julie's Biscuit company to congratulate my husband for winning "the most creative award", I was so surprised as I did not expect can win a single prize from that contest. And I was told to wait for my prize to be shipped from Melaka and it takes time to reach me ( about 2-3 weeks).

So last Friday, I went to collect the prize ... 2 big bags of assorted Julie's biscuit.

My house in now loaded with lot of biscuits...Munchy's Chocolate biscuits (which I won last year from Munchy's contest),some biscuits from CNY's hamper, Julie's biscuit and lately I also won 1 month supply of Jacob's biscuit, but I am yet to receive my Jacob's prize. Really have to drink plenty of water to kill the heatiness of eating too much biscuits.

Recently I joined a few Facebook contest and glad that I won these small gifts...

1. Spargo Mills Premix Spices
They are having a mini contest by liking their Facebook profile page, I used my own Facebook account,but no luck....try using my hubby's facebook account and at last,his name was come out as one of the winner.
Now, my kitchen has been added with some premix spices for me to try out.....

 




2. Munchy's
Just trying my luck by submitting Ryan picture with Munchy's products..........after been waiting for a few weeks,.....I saw Ryan's picture was come out as one of the winner.
Yesterday, I received a box of Captain Munchy biscuit ( Kacang Hazel ) - 12 packs.

Surprise Prize from ..........Dumex

Last week, I received a notice from one of the courier service company when I reached home around noontime, then I phoned them to re-sent the item to my shop the next day.
I was thinking,.....what is the thing I am going to receive (it is under my husband's name). As I did not expecting any gift or prize from any where at that point of time.
Never mind...just wait and see.....

So the next morning, the courier man sent the item to my shop and I was asked to sign a piece of delivery note (the item written in the note: Samsung Galaxy Tab)....while signing on that piece of note, I was thinking.......who sent this "thing" to my husband.
Later on, I asked my husband whether he ordered Galaxy Tab online, he said "NO"....both of us  were in puzzled,we opened up the parcel and I found delivery note written the company name (stationed in KL). So I quickly called up the company and asked them to help me check this item was actually sent by who. After the phone conversation, I read through the delivery note again and I found under the "description",it was stated : danone-std.
Danone....it sound familiar and my husband suggested to find any information online on this company. At last, I get some tips that Dumex is under Danone.

I remembered few months back I did joined Dumex Dugro Hari Raya contest, I submitted one entry for fun ( I got the barcode for the dumex milk formula from Ryan's classmate as he drank this milk formula ).....so I started to write a story according to the "tema" of that contest.
I went to my facebook and check on the winner list for Dumex contest........out of surprise, I saw my husband's name was THERE (under second prize winner).

Both me and my husband were so HaPPy....It is always my dream to own either Ipad or GalaxyTab and now I have it in hand without me spending a single cents.......Thanks lot Dumex for selecting my story as one of the winner.

It will be a perfect thing for my coming holiday trip ...we can play games or surf nets while waiting for our connecting flight back to my hometown.......can't wait for the coming school holiday.........:)

Something Good for Ryan

This morning, I received a parcel from courier service man and when I opened up the parcel....Oh, Hot Wheels Wall Track prize that I won from MG's blog giveaway. It is definitely a surprise gift for Ryan.
But I plan not to give it to Ryan first, I will keep this prize and wait till after his final year exam over, then only I will present this prize to him as a suprise gift.

Thanks lot MG for this great prize. Ryan sure will scream out loud.........if he knows he has a new toy waiting there for him to play......*-*

SomeThing Good for Us...

This week, I received a few prizes from contest that I joined via Facebook....Although not a big prizes (how I wish can strike "big prizes" one day),but I feel happy receiving all the prizes.

1. Maggi Mi Goreng sample
Being the first 3000 consumers registering for free samples of Maggi Mi Goreng , I received a very nice pack of sample....Love the new Maggi Mi Goreng, I like the new taste...but unfortunately, I found the noodle portion is bit small. I think 1 pack is not  enough for me if I am in hungry mood.....oh, big eater ya...***-***















2. POISE liners
I can't remember when I joined this contest,but one thing I can remember, I am using my MIL to join as I don't have a valid Msian IC no,..no choice, I have to use my MIL name & IC no to join this POISE contest and fortunately, I won the prize.....can save my $$ for this month, no need to buy any panty liners for a month.

3. Pirates Boat
Actually I joined this Disney Junior Asia contest quite some times back and I have been waiting for more than a month....never received the prize. After sending them an email, at last I received my prize. The actual prize is not a pirate boat,just some small items.So the other day, when I opened up the parcel sent directly to me from Singapore, I was surprised that Disney Junior Asia changed the prize for me and given me a better prize. Ryan was super happy .... at last have a new toy for him to play with...

What I collected yesterday.....

Two days ago, when I reached home after picking up Ryan from school, a piece of PosLaju slip was placed at my gate. Just wondering who sent me Things.....Never mind, yesteday I went to collect it after sending Ryan off to school.

Few months back , I played a Facebook game organized by My MamyPoko and I won one of their prize in their Earn Your Stripes Challenge.
Since Ryan is no longer using diapers, no point to keep them at home. Think of selling them off....can earn some quick $$. Not bad oh:)

I could not remember when I joined this contest at facebook. Last month, I received a call telling me that I won a consolation prize from Innershine. At last...they sent me to prize to their Sibu office and I self-collect from their office.














2. Sunsweet Malaysia
Joining their father's day contest  and I won Giant RM50 voucher. Have spent this voucher on Ryan's milk formula since there was a discount last weekend.

Joining their Father's day contest and  I won a super teddy bear...very cute bear. I have been aiming for this cute bear long time ago,at last I got it. So happy.

Due to the poor internet connection, I have been away from blogging for the past few days...now I am back.

Last week, I received my prize from Blackmores,another Facebook contest that I joined few weeks ago and I won a bottle of dietary supplement together with RM5 voucher. Till now I am yet to try the dietary supplement (such a big capsule...how to "telan"....I need HELP. Tell me what is the best way to Telan such a big capsule....I don't think it can go down through my throat.In my whole life, I am yet to eat such a big capsule of medicine/supplement.

Year End exam's result

Yesterday was Ryan's last day at school and he received his final year report book.
I was so happy that Ryan got 1st rank in his class. Feel proud of him...I knew he is doing his best in the final year exam.
The top 3 in his class received a pressie from school and also some titbits.
Apart from it, Ryan also received his very first trophy from Dancing Competition that he joined about a month ago.

The good news.....Yes, we are going back to Medan soon...another 2 more weeks to go. We are looking forward to it.Ryan is getting excited to see grandma,grandpa,aunt,uncle and his cousins all in Medan. Of course, we miss the food there too. Gonna write down a list of food we want to eat while holidaying in Medan.

After been waiting for more than 3 months, at last I received the Maggi Hamper worth Rm100 today. This has been the fourth time I joined Maggi Gawai contest.It was held every year (only for Sarawak area). Although it is just a small prize (consolation),but I feel happy with it. I can save my $$$ since most of the time my family are consuming Maggi products.
For those my friends who are consuming Maggi products, do keep the packaging/label for this GAWAI contest. If you don't mind,help me collect those label/packagings for the next year Gawai contest.

After been waiting for 3 months,at last I received the Johnson & Johnson prize. I used my hubby's name to join this contest as they need a Msian IC. Get the votes everyday and at last I won the prize. Feel happy with my effort....although not a big prize,but it is worhty for my hardworks as both me and Ryan love using J & J product. Last night, I was so happy...did i strike 4d? I wish too..but no,still no luck in 4d.
While browsing through Facebook, I caught my FB's friend was tagging my name on her status...But I still did not confirm whether I really won it until I really go to the website and check it out.
Yes...I won a limited edition set of 6 coca-cola can glasses. I came across this contest from one of my FB's friend. He knew that I missed out one of the coke glass from MacDonalds (green colour) and he recommended me to join this contest. No harm to try my luck.Unfortunately for the past two weeks, I have no luck to win,but I am telling myself,never give up.
And on the 3rd week...I saw Ryan's picture was posted on the website.So happy I am....and of course, my hubby was quite happy too as he is a Coca-Cola collector.

Some prizes

Last few weeks, I received Drypers Parents' circle newsletter (1st issue) from SCA and saw one of my article was selected as STAR LETTER...yuhooo....I will get free diaper and mystery gift again.At last, SCA's staff called me up one day asking me what size of diaper I want. Straightly I told her that Ryan does not need any diaper anymore and can I exchange for something else. After checking with Manager, she agree to change for me other prize...Really appreciate it !!

Things that make me Happy

Everytime when I received a prize from someone or a company, I always feel so happy. Although they are not a big prize,but at least I am getting "something" free and useful to me.

Something from FB

Last few weeks, I got a noted that both me and my husband won some prizes from Asia Media TV (through facebook).
My husband won special prize from Drive Angry contest while I myself won a prize from Rabbit and Friendz contest.
Unfortunately for the Drive Angry prize, we have to collect the prize personally or either send a representative to collect on our behalf.
Since I am not located at KL..I may need my friends in KL to help me to collect the prize..but who is willing to help me....? HELP HELP>......
Here comes my big helper.....a friend that I knew from Facebook named Crystal, she was kind enough to respond to my message that I updated in my Facebook account. Since she is helping her godsister to collect her prize at the same location,so I tumpang her at the sametime.
And yesterday, she called me up to inform me that she will courier the prizes and also included some angpow packets for me. Thanks lot Crystal for the angpows....they definitely add to my collection.
And today, I received the parcel from the courier service man..
