Lemon Sponge Cake
Last Sunday, after been to Hoover Memorial Park and Jubilee Park,I was in the mood to bake a cake......I bought a pack of sponge cake mix the other day during my grocery shopping. It was pretty simple to make....just add water/milk n melted butter n egg into the sponge mix,beat them well and baked for about 40 mins....... Here it is.....My Lemon Sponge Cake.....

Never mind, sink also ok...as long as it is delicious. It certainly looks very good...
Your cake look very soft and nice. Oh did you slightly cut the cherries? Whole cherries is too heavy. Try let the cake bake for 10min when the batter gets a bit denser, then only add the cherries.

the cherries are big heavy.. normally I will dust with flour before adding in the batter..

I've never tried sponge cake recipe. I failed to beat the egg white till stiff peak, therefore normally I will just bake normal butter cake. Simpler method, hehe.
